Problem Note 12311: The SPLIT node fails to pass the appropriate data to subsequent nodes in
a diagram
If you include the SPLIT node in a diagram in Campaign Studio, any
subsequent nodes that follow the SPLIT in the process flow will not
function correctly. This problem occurs because the SPLIT node fails to
retrieve the correct subject id information from the metadata. Instead,
it expects the subject id to always be PTY_ID.
After you install the available hot fix according to the instructions,
you will be able to produce counts for the cells generated by the SPLIT
node.
Note, however, that you may receive the following messages in the SAS
Application Server log:
WARNING: Apparent symbolic reference SUBJECTID not resolved.
ERROR: The text expression &SUBJECTID contains a recursive reference
to the macro variable SUBJECTID. The macro variable will be
assigned the null value.
These messages are not known to cause any problems with subsequent
exports or other downstream nodes and can be ignored.
