Usage Note 12280: "Unable to connect to metadata server" when logging on to SAS Management
Console
When you try to log on to the SAS Management Console (SASMC)
with the sasadm userid, the following error message might appear:
Unable to connect to metadata server.
To resolve this problem, inspect the users on the local machine. You
will find that the sasadm userid does not exist, but sassdm does.
Delete the sassdm account, add sasadm to the SAS Server Users group, and
reboot the machine.
