Problem Note 12034: "FILE PRINT_AREA DOES NOT EXIST" error messages appear when running PROC
CONTENTS
When you use PROC CONTENTS with a LIBREF that accesses an Excel
workbook,
the following error message might appear:
ERROR: File libref.'''December 03''$Print_Area'n.DATA does not
exist.
This problem occurs when a print area has been defined in the Excel
Workbook. You set this by selecting FILE>PRINT AREA>SET PRINT AREA
after you select a range of cells in Excel.
To circumvent the problem, remove the print area by selecting in Excel
FILE>PRINT AREA>CLEAR PRINT AREA.
