Problem Note 11573: Displaying a profile from the employee master table may be confusing
When accessing a user profile from within a table such as the Employee
Master table, a filter is applied such that searching for a different
employee, using the Profile window, may be confusing.
By default, typing a name into the NAME field will result in no
employees found (displayed as missing values ########), because the name
does not match the currently displayed employee profile.
With HCM hot fix 31HR02, a modification has been made to the Employee
Profile that will allow the user to click on the Reset button and clear
the where clause established when the Profile was invoked from a table.
To implement this modification, the site administrator may add a
parameter setting of
eepfullreset="yes"
in the file, hrpref.xml, within the <install>/Appl/spec/options/
directory. After saving this file and logging back into HCM, the new
behavior will take effect.
