Usage Note 11901: "Error: Authenticating user sasguest in function LogonUser" occurs when
you run the LoadPortalGuestAssociation.sas program
The LoadPortalGuestAssociation.sas file might generate the following
errors in the LoadPortalGuestAssociation.log file:
Error: Invalid credentials
Error: Access Denied
Error: Authenticating user sasguest in function LogonUser
Error: An error occurred while loading metadata
The log file is located in the C:\Program Files\SAS\Web\Portal2.0.1\OMR
directory.
To correct this problem:
1. Reset the password for the sasguest account.
2. Make sure the properties for the sasguest account have
"password never expires" checked.
3. Verify that the spelling of the sasguest user ID and password match
the sasguest user ID and password defined in the metadata server.
The SASĀ® Management Console can be used to modify the
definitions in the metadata server.
To reset the password on the operating system:
1. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Computer
Management > Local Users and Groups > Users and highlight sasguest.
2. Right-click and select Set Password.

the Intructions.htm file, under Load Web Infrastructure Kit "Primer" Metadata, Step 3.
