Usage Note 11310: Network error: Connection refused to host
When using the Enterprise Miner 5.1 thin client, if the Enterprise Miner
application server is shut down while the client session is still
active, you may receive the following errors:
Network Error:
Connection refused to host (ip address); nested exception is
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused.
Also, depending on what you are doing at the time, you may get a
traceback rather than the Network Error. The traceback may begin
similar to this:
java.rmi.UnmarshalException:Error unmarshaling return header;
nested exception is: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset
Check with your administrator to see why the application server was
stopped. The client session must be terminated and restarted once
the application server is reinstated.
