This is caused by an empty working config file (sasv9.cfg). The default
location for the config file is as follows:
C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS System\9.0\nls\en
Perform a search on your hard drive for sasv9.cfg. One is located
under the !sasroot directory and is a pointer to the working config
file in the default location indicated earlier. If you find one in a
different location, open the file in Notepad and see if the information
in it has the same directory path and product information as your
current
installation. If it is, make a copy of the sasv9.cfg and place it in the
default location of the working config.
If this does not work, see if someone else at your site has SAS 9.0
installed with the same products that you have. Copy their working
config file into your C:\Program Files\SAS\SAS System\9.0\nls\en
directory.
If this is not available to you or does not work, you need to
uninstall and reinstall SAS 9.0. To uninstall SAS 9.0 perform the
following:
1. Back up any necessary files.
2. Click on Start> Settings> Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs
3. Locate SAS System 9.0, and click on Remove.
4. Reboot your system and log in as the Administrator.
5. Close all other applications, including your antivirus software.
6. Reinstall SAS 9.0
