Problem Note 10997: Default text values from the campaign template do not display in the Campaign Reference Data screen

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
If you enter data into a text field in the Campaign Reference Data
screen of the SAS Campaign Management component, the date 31-Dec-1899
may display instead of the text value. This problem occurs when you
perform the following steps:

  1. Create two communication templates using the Campaign Management
Admin component. Include a shadow field in the first template
(Template 1) defined with a type of 'Date'. In the second template
(Template 2), create a shadow field in the same relative position
as the date field in the first template, defined with a type of
'Calculation', a Max Length of 1, and a Value of 1. For example,
if the date field in the first template is the 8th field, then the
Calculation field in the second template will also be the 8th field
     in the template.

  2. In the Campaign Reference Data window of the Campaign Management
component, create a new Campaign and select Template 1. Then
immediately click the New button in the toolbar and select Template
     2.

  3. The text field in this screen now displays the date value
31-Dec-1899 instead of the value 1.
