Problem Note 10877: 'Bad file name' error when logging into Campaign Management

DetailsHotfixAboutRate It
If you do not have write access to the C:\ drive on your computer, or
you do not have a C:\ drive mapped, you will receive the following
error when you attempt to log into the SAS Campaign Management
component:

An error has occurred during initialisation.
   Error Number: 52
    Line Number: 0
      Component: Campaign Management Component
         Module: MInitial
      Procedure: Main
    Description: Bad file name (C:\SasEmaCM.log)

If you are logging into the Admin or Maintenance tools, the file name is
SasEmaAD.log or SasEmaMT.log.

These errors occur even if the ErrorLogFileName and StackLogFileName
options are defined in the ISMCONFIG table with alternate drive
locations. Since Campaign Management cannot detect the log file paths
in ISMCONFIG until after the connection to the database is established,
the application begins logging initialization information to the C:\
drive, before switching over to the user-specified paths found in
ISMCONFIG.

The only circumvention for this problem is to map a drive as C:\ and
ensure the Campaign Management user has write access to the mapped
drive.
