Usage Note 26722: A C program abends with a D37-04 when the input file is very large
When a C program is executed with a very large input file, a D37 abend
may occur with messages similar to the following:
IGD100I VIO ALLOCATED TO DDNAME SYS00093 DATACLAS ( )
IEC031I D37-04,modulename,jobname,stepname,SYS00002,VIO, ,
IEC031I datasetname
LSCX550 **** WARNING **** ERRNO = ENOSPC
Generated in WRITE called from line 952 of POMR(OBJFCLOSE) offset
0xF4 Record not written. File is full.
The abend occurs because the default space allocation for temporary
files is too small.
To correct the problem, apply the zap referenced by Zrrr3101 or provide
SYSTMPnn DD names as noted in the zap. The SYSTMPnn DD names are also
described in Library Reference Volume 1, Chapter 3, page 19.
This problem has been seen when AR370, LC370B, and COOL (all C programs)
are executed.
