Explanation |
A bitfield declaration specified a field width larger
than required by the specified type. For example a char
bitfield was specified with more than 8 bits. The extra bits are not used
to store the value and are treated as padding. This warning is only issued
with the NOBITFIELD
option. Otherwise the
SAS/C bitfield rules are applied and all bits are used for the value.
