An audit log is maintained on the server to track changes such as adding, updating or deleting transaction tables, groups, rules, and assignments. See View Audit Log.
You can export a rule definition table and a rule association table for use on another computer.
More options are supported for creating a Detail report. See Define a Detail Report.
A new match behavior operator allows you to do a field comparison between the behavior table and a transaction table. The selection criteria are met when the value of every matching column in the Transaction row equals the value of the corresponding matching column in the Behavior row. For example, “CustAcctNum” from a Transaction table can have a corresponding matching column “CustomerNo” from the Behavior table. Both text and numeric column types are supported for field matching.
A Preview button allows you to view tables without going outside of Profitability Management. You can view both the table schema and the first 1000 records of the table to verifiy that the table is the one you want.
See Preview Table. You can also preview tables from the following dialog boxes:
Create a New Profitability Model
Edit Model
Import a Rule Association Table
Import a Rule Definition Table
Output tables can now be written to databases other than SAS to facilitate usage of the tables with other software tools. During model definition, you specify two separate libraries:
A number of performance improvements increase user productivity and enhance the user experience. The improvements include the following:
During cube calculation and generation, SAS Profitability Management can start concurrent sessions to distribute the workload across multiple CPUs. One transaction is allocated to each session.
The capabilities are added to clear all rule associations and to delete all rules. This allows you to quickly remove large parts of a model and re-import rather than having to make time-consuming individual changes
Large behavior tables are loaded incrementally allowing you to view behaviors before the table is completely loaded.
