Add Users
To define Profitability Management users in the SAS Management Console:

Log on to the SAS Management Console as an administrator.

Click the
Plug-ins tab.

Select the
Foundation repository.

Select
Environment Management.

Right-click
User Manager, and select
New User.

Name the new user, and enter other user information on the
General tab.

Click the
Groups and Roles tab, and add
Profitability Management Users to the list of groups that the user is a
member of.
Add any other groups to which the user belongs.

Click the
Accounts tab, and then click
New. The New Login Properties window opens.

Enter the new user's user ID on the network.
Note: For Windows, the name should be prefixed with the user's domain. For UNIX, no prefix is needed.

Leave the Password field blank (it comes from the network).

Leave the Confirm Password field blank (it comes from the
network).

Select an authentication domain.
Note: It is suggested that you create an
authentication domain for specific use by Profitability Management Users instead of using
DefaultAuth.

You can leave the Authorization tab blank.
Note: The Authorization tab does not show authorizations of the new user. Rather, it shows the authorizations of groups that can affect the user.

Click
OK.
You must also add the new user to the Profitability Management Users group in the operating system:
