Add a User to the PM Group in Windows

To add a user to the PM Group in the Windows operating system of the server machine that hosts your Metadata Repository:

  1. Select Start Settings Control Panel Administrative Tools Computer Management.

    The Computer Management window opens.

  2. Select the Groups folder under Systems Tools Local Users and Groups.

  3. Select the PM Users group, right-click, and select Properties.

  4. Click Add.

  5. Enter the <<domain>>\<<username>> in the Enter the object names to select field.

  6. Click OK twice.

  7. Close the Computer Management dialog.
