PROBEX data may be logged directly and locally by PROBEX on each system that it is monitoring, or the data may be transmitted to a system running SunNet Manager and logged there. In either case, the format of the logged data is the same (that is, PROBEX logs data in the same format as SunNet Manager). Though in theory PROBEX (or SunNet Manager) will continue to log data until your disk space is totally consumed, we recommend that the log file be moved out of the path of the monitor, processed into your PDB, and then archived to tape fairly frequently (daily).
