SAS IT Resource Management Adapter Metrics Documentation

SAS IT Resource Management identifies key metrics across supported adapters and standardizes them for the IT data mart. Key metrics are analyzed and reported upon using standard report definitions and common SAS labels for site-specific purposes. See the Key Metrics appendix in the SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1: Administrator's Guide for more information about the key metrics that are available for the adapters that SAS IT Resource Management supports.

Platform Mapping of Aggregation Metrics

HP Adapters (HP-OVPA and HP-OVREP)

HP-OVPA and HP-OVREP Platform Mapping of Aggregation Columns, sorted by staged table and performance metric, lists the possible aggregation metrics for the HP adapters and the operating systems on which each metric appears. ( posted: August 2007)
HP-OVPA and HP-OVREP SAS Data Set for Platform Mapping of Aggregation Metrics (sas7bdat) provides the platform mapping data for the HP adapters in a usable SAS data set. Note: If you are prompted to Open or Save the file, select Save. Save the file in a local directory and open the saved file with SAS. ( posted: August 2007)
Macro code (.sas) enables you to sort the HP-OVPA and HP-OVREP SAS Data Set for Platform Mapping of Aggregation Metrics according to your own specifications. This macro code must run on a SAS server and it can be submitted with the tools that SAS Data Integration Studio provides. The comments in the code provide instructions for customizing the macro to accommodate your needs. Note: If you are prompted to Open or Save the file, select Save. Adapter Aggregation Metrics

The Adapter Setup Wizard creates aggregations for several of the adapters that SAS IT Resource Management supports. See the Adapter Setup Wizard chapter in the SAS IT Resource Management 3.1.1: Administrator's Guide for a complete list of the report groups, information maps, and aggregations that the Adapter Setup Wizard supports for each adapter.

The files below provide the metric information for each aggregation that the Adapter Setup Wizard creates for report groups of an adapter. Each file includes metric information such as the name of the corresponding staged table, aggregation name, column type, column name, column label, statistic, weight, format, and notes such as the formula used for computed columns.
