SAS 9.2 has
had three maintenance releases. The first maintenance release for
SAS 9.2 was a localization-only release and shipped in June 2009.
The second maintenance release for SAS 9.2 shipped in September 2009,
and the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2 shipped in May 2010.

might need to release a product update that is outside of the SAS
9.2 schedule. These product updates are called product-specific maintenance
releases. The scope of product-specific maintenance releases varies.
The maintenance release could contain bug fixes or new features. Some
product-specific maintenance releases deliver a localized version
of the product.
