If you are adding a SAS solution to an existing SAS 9.2 deployment,
or if you need to renew your software license for a SAS solution,
then you need to update the SID file (SAS installation data file)
in the metadata. Starting with the October 2009 release of SAS 9.2,
you can update the SID file by using the SAS Deployment Manager. For
