New Features in SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.2

Here are some of the new features in SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.2:
  • adds the new SAS Clinical Standards Toolkit standards (SDTM 3.1.2, updated SDTM 3.1.1 adherence checks, and updated controlled terminology).
  • ability to save the data from the CDISC-SDTM to CRT-DDS transformation. You can edit the CRT-DDS tables to add information that is not represented in CDI metadata.
  • supports both Windows 32-bit and Solaris on x64: Version 10 for the server tiers and continuation of support for Windows 32-bit for the client tier.
  • enhanced reporting capabilities:
    • a new reports feature in SAS Data Integration Studio to generate SAS Clinical Data Integration reports.
      Study administrators can generate reports to show the following information:
      • basic study information that is defined in the metadata
      • basic submission information that is defined in the metadata
      • standards that are defined in the metadata
      • controlled terminology packages
    • a report about a single domain's or multiple domains' compliance against the CDISC-SDTM data standard.
    • a report that provides summary and detail information about a CDISC-SDTM to CRT-DDS transformation.
    • a report that provides summary and detail information about the validity of a CRT-DDS file.

Upgrading SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.2

To upgrade an existing SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.1 installation to SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.2, you must run the SAS Deployment Wizard twice. First, run the SAS Deployment Wizard to update all of the existing components to those required for SAS Clinical Data Integration 2.2. Next, to add the new SAS Clinical Standards Toolkit Components (SDTM 3.1.2 and CDISC Controlled Terminology 201003), run the SAS Deployment Wizard and select a planned deployment for the SAS Clinical Data Integration server tier. Alternatively, you can manually install the SAS Clinical Standards Toolkit Components.
