Product Release Number

After you apply the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2, the product release number for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is 4.22.

Note: If you install SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2, you are automatically upgraded to the SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office. For more information, see SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2.

Post-Configuration Steps for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office

Use the following table to determine what (if any) post-configuration steps you need to complete. To determine the product release number for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office, see the deployment registry report that you generated before you applied the third maintenance release. When Post-Configuration Steps Are Required

You are installing the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office for the first time.	If you are installing the SAS Add-In 4.22 for Microsoft Office, then you must apply the latest fixes for this product. To download this hot fix, see http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/92_all_hosts.html. If you are installing the SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office for the first time, then no post-configuration steps are required unless you are upgrading from SAS Enterprise Miner 6.1 to SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2. For more information, see Determining the Product Release Numbers for Products at Your Site.
You are applying the third maintenance release to an existing SAS 9.2 deployment, and the product release number for the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office is 4.22.	If you have not yet applied the hot fix for the SAS Add-In 4.22 for Microsoft Office, then you should apply this hot fix after you apply the third maintenance release for SAS 9.2. For more information, see http://ftp.sas.com/techsup/download/hotfix/HF2/92_all_hosts.html. If you previously applied this hot fix, then you do not need to apply it again.
You are upgrading from the SAS Add-In 4.2 for Microsoft Office to the SAS Add-In 4.3 or 4.305 for Microsoft Office.	You do not need to apply the hot fix for the SAS Add-In 4.2 for Microsoft Office before upgrading to the SAS Add-In 4.3 or 4.305 for Microsoft Office. You are upgrading from SAS Enterprise Miner 6.1 to SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2.	SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2 includes a new feature called SAS Rapid Predictive Modeler, which must be run from either SAS Enterprise Guide 4.3 or the SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office or later. Therefore, an order for SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2 also includes the SAS Add-In 4.3 for Microsoft Office. If you are currently running the SAS Add-In 4.2 for Microsoft Office, then you need to upgrade to the 4.3 release. If you do not have the SAS Add-In for Microsoft Office installed at your site, then you can install it after you upgrade to SAS Enterprise Miner 6.2.
