| Metadata System Options |
The following enhancements have been added to metadata system options. For more information, see SAS Language Interfaces to Metadata.

The default for the METAREPOSITORY= system option is Foundation.

The default for the METAENCRYPTALG= is SASPROPRIETARY.

The default for the METAENCRYPTLEVEL= system option is CREDENTIALS.
| Metadata LIBNAME Engine |
Metadata is read-only under the metadata LIBNAME engine. Values of the METAOUT= option have been changed to reflect the fact that metadata is read-only. For more information, see SAS Language Interfaces to Metadata.
| METAOPERATE Procedure |
The PAUSE and RESUME actions specify a SAS Metadata Server, not an individual repository or the repository manager. The pause state is still a property of each repository. However, a repository's pause state is not set directly; it is computed from both the metadata server state and the repository's registered access mode. For more information, see SAS Language Interfaces to Metadata.
