Administrative Changes in the SAS Intelligence Platform |
Conditional Highlighting Image Files |
Sample conditional highlighting image files are initially deployed in the customer folder titled ConditionalHighlightingImages.
SAS Content Server |
In SAS 9.2, the new SAS Content Server is used for managing WebDAV content. For more information, see Administering the SAS Content Server in SAS Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide.
SAS Information Delivery Portal |
There is no Public Kiosk in SAS Information Delivery Portal 4.2. The public content administrator must share content with the PUBLIC group to ensure that all users have access. For more information, see "SAS Information Delivery Portal Administration" in SAS Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide.
SAS Web Report Studio |
For SAS Web Report Studio 4.2, you use the Configuration Manager plug-in in SAS Management console to configure application properties. It is highly recommended that you do not edit the LocalProperties.xml file.
For SAS Web Report Studio 4.2, you configure the logging options in the Logging Service Properties window (which is available by navigating from the Plug-ins tab in SAS Management Console). Previously, you configured logging by editing the DefaultLoggerProperties.xml file.
Public users, who do not have a metadata user definition, do not have personal folders in SAS Web Report Studio 4.2. As a result, they do not have a location to store their history and preferences. When public users log off, their report history is not retained.
There was a shared location for SAS Web Report Studio 3.1. In SAS Web Report Studio 4.2, you can navigate through the entire repository. In SAS Web Report Studio 4.2, the Location drop-down combo box displays the legacy shared folder, in addition to the current and parent folders.
Previously, the software contained a folder that all users could access. SAS Web Report Studio 4.2 does not have a shared folder, but it allows users to navigate freely in the folder structure if they have metadata access permissions. The folder structure is determined by the system administrator.
Existing folders will move after migration. Typically, they will be located in the following path: \Lev1\Web\Applications\SASWebReportStudio4.2\customer folder.
For more information, see "SAS Web Report Studio Administration" in SAS Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide.
SAS BI Dashboard |
Indicators with models that use the libref DBOARD will fail if you do not define that libref in the dboard_sas.dsx file.
The BI Dashboard 4.2 samples are assigned to the libref SASDATA. Install the samples only if you want to use the versions for the new release.
The Manage Dashboards link in the dashboard portlet is off by default.
For more information, see "SAS BI Dashboard Administration" in SAS Intelligence Platform: Web Application Administration Guide.
