When you open a table
in SAS Studio, you use the table viewer.
Note: The table viewer displays
the first 100 rows of the table. If the structure or data values of
the table change while the table is open, you must refresh the table
viewer to see the changes. If the structure of the table changes and
you do not refresh the table, the columns that are listed in the Libraries section
of the navigation pane might be different from the columns that are
displayed in the table viewer.
You can view the properties
of the table and its columns by clicking
on the
toolbar.
The
extended attributes tabs enable you to associate additional
user-defined characteristics with the table and columns in the table. For example, you could create
extended
attributes that contain a URL with information about your table or the formula that is used
to create a column. For more information about creating extended attributes, see
Base SAS 9.4 Procedures
Guide.
Note: You can add extended attributes
only to SAS tables that were created on a SAS 9.4 (or later) server.
