The basic edition of
SAS Studio supports Windows and UNIX operating environments. Unlike
the enterprise edition, installing the basic edition does not require
a deployment plan. However, before you can install the SAS Studio
Basic edition, you must complete several prerequisite steps, such
as selecting the directory for SASHome and the SAS Software Depot.
To install SAS Studio Basic, use the SAS installer account.
