Use this page in the Extract
from R/3 wizard to specify which metadata you want to
extract and to identify the location of the SAP R/3 metadata library.
The library is the location into which the SAP R/3 metadata is saved.
Extracted metadata is saved in SAS data sets in this library.
You can also use this
page to specify these extract options:
whether you want to overwrite existing
metadata or append newly extracted metadata to existing metadata.
whether you want to exclude structures,
maintenance views, and help views when extracting SAP R/3 metadata.
whether you want to extract field
metadata only for the tables for which metadata has already been extracted.
This option applies only if you have previously extracted metadata.
The page contains these
items.
Metadata Library
lets you verify the
SAP R/3 metadata library where the SAS data sets are written. You
can also use it to specify whether you want to overwrite or append
to any existing data sets that are in the SAP metadata library. This
library is selected in the previous window (SAP Server page).
The Metadata Library group box contains these
items.
Selected Path
displays the physical
location of the directory that you defined as the SAP R/3 metadata
library.
Merge into Existing Metadata
lets you specify whether
you want to overwrite any existing SAS data sets in the SAP metadata
library. If you select this, existing metadata is overwritten.
If you do not select it, metadata is appended to
the existing SAS data sets in the SAP R/3 metadata library. When you
use the SAP R/3 Register Tables wizard to
extract metadata, this check box is disabled if the metadata library
that you selected on the SAP Server page
is empty.
Select the type of Metadata to extract

SAP R/3 metadata that you want to extract to SAS data sets and set
extract options for the extraction process. The Select
the type of Metadata to extract group box contains these
following items.

which you can use to specify extract options. For example, you can
