Using Tables, Graphs, and Gauges

After selecting your data source and data items, add one or more report objects to display the results. SAS Visual Analytics designer interface provides tables, graphs, gauges, text, and images for all of your reports.

You can select these table types for reports:

list tables
crosstabs

The following graph types are available in the designer interface:

bar charts
targeted bar charts
waterfall charts
line charts
pie charts
scatter plots
time series plots
bubble plots
treemaps
dual axis bar charts
dual axis line charts
dual axis bar-line charts
dual axis time series plot

The following gauges are available in the designer interface:

bullet
slider
thermometer
dial
speedometer

These objects are also available in the designer interface:

text
image

In the designer interface, you have access to report objects from the explorer interface. You can use the histogram or heat map report objects that have been exported from the explorer interface. However, you cannot create new histograms or heat maps in the designer interface.
