It is appropriate to examine the residuals from the fitted model for analysis of variance just as you did with the multiple regression model you fit in Chapter 14, "Multiple Regression."
The residuals-by-predicted graph illustrated in Figure 15.8, along with several other diagnostic plots, are available for examining residuals. Since this topic is discussed in Chapter 14, residual plots are not examined here.
