When the MSGCASE= system option is in
effect, all notes, warnings, and error messages that SAS generates appear
in uppercase. Otherwise, all notes, warnings, and error messages appear in
mixed case. You specify the MSGCASE= system option in the configuration file
or during the SAS invocation.
