Using the Banner Links

The top right corner of the SAS Information Delivery Portal's banner area contains links to other areas of the portal. The links that appear in the banner can vary based on which area of the portal you are in:

When you log on, the Customize, Options, Search, Log Off, and Help links appear in the upper right corner of the banner, as shown here:

Use these links as follows:
- Click Customize to display the Customize menu. This menu enables you to customize the pages of your portal. For more information, see Using the Customize Menu.
- Click Options to display the Options menu. This menu enables you to create content and to change your user preferences. For more information, see Using the Options Menu.
- Click Search to look for specific content that has been registered in the SAS Information Delivery Portal. For more information, see Search for Content.
- Click Log Off when you are finished using the portal.
- Click Help to display instructions for using the SAS Information Delivery Portal.
When you leave the main portal pages to view a content item, the Portal Page and Search links appear. The Portal Page link also appears when you perform a search and when you perform some personalization tasks.

Use these links as follows:
- Click Portal Page to return to the portal page that you were on when you initiated the task.
- Click Search to display the results of your most recent search or to perform a new search.
Note: For best results, always use the portal's navigation tools instead of the browser's navigation tools when you are in the portal. For example, use the Portal Page and Search links instead of the browser's Back button to return to the previous portal page.
