Add Your Bookmarks Portlet

Each user of the SAS Information Delivery Portal has a personal Bookmarks portlet for storing bookmarked content items. Each user has only one Bookmarks portlet. However, you can add your Bookmarks portlet to multiple pages if you want to see it in more than one place.
To add your Bookmarks portlet to a portal page, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to the page where you want to add the Bookmarks portlet.
  2. Click Customizethen selectEdit Pagethen selectEdit Page Content.
  3. On the Edit Page Content page, click Add Portlets.
  4. On the Add Portlets page, click the Search tab.
  5. On the search panel, enter bookmarks in the Keywords field, and then click Search.
The list of search results should include an entry called Bookmarks Portlet.
  6. In the search results list, use either of the following procedures to add the portlet to your page:
    • To add the portlet without previewing it, select the check box next to the portlet name, and then click Add.
    • To preview the portlet before adding it, click the portlet name. When the portlet appears in the browser window, click Add This Portlet on the toolbar.
  7. When you are finished, click Done on the Search page.
  8. On the Edit Page Content page, specify where the portlet is to appear on the page as follows:
    • If you are using a column layout, you can move the portlet to a different column or to a different position within a column.
    • If you are using a grid layout, specify where you want the portlet to appear by selecting the portlet's name in the drop-down box for the appropriate cell. To span rows or columns, select the portlet in adjoining cells.
For more information about specifying the layout of portlets, see Edit the Contents of a Page.
  9. Click OK. The original page appears with the Bookmarks portlet added.
