STIMER System Option: z/OS

Specifies whether to write a subset of system performance statistics to the SAS log.

Default:	STIMER
Valid in:	configuration file, SAS invocation

Syntax

STIMER | NOSTIMER

STIMER: writes only the CPU time and memory that are used to the SAS log. When the STATS option is also in effect, SAS writes the CPU time statistic to the SAS log.
NOSTIMER: does not write any statistics to the SAS log.

Additional statistics can be written to the SAS log by specifying the FULLSTATS or MEMRPT system options.
