The following
display is an example of a geographical map that has geographic hierarchies
defined.
The US Regions Hierarchy Level
You can
perform these tasks on a geographical map to drill or expand the geographic
hierarchy:

Click
and then click a colored geographical map region
(which is a member in the currently displayed geographic hierarchy
level). The geographical map is redrawn to display the regions (members)
for the next hierarchy level down while keeping the context of the
current hierarchy level. For example, if you select the Midwestern
states in
The US Regions Hierarchy Level , then the geographical map retains
the context of the selected region and uses that information to determine
which states should appear in the following display. The legend to
the right of the geographical map changes to display the values for
the expanded region.
In the US Regions Hierarchy Level, the West N. Central Member
