About Dynamic Text in Headers and Footers

A dynamic item is a placeholder for text that will be generated from data when the report is viewed. You can include dynamic text in a header or a footer, which enables you to include information such as the name and description of the data source that is supplying the data for the report, the date that the report was last refreshed, and the report author.
