The SAS Data Integration
Studio job statistics reports enable you to use SAS BI reporting tools
to analyze the performance of deployed jobs. The reporting package
parses the contents of logs generated by the deployed jobs and generates
statistical data sets summarized by job step. This data is used to
create a variety of reports that enable you to track and analyze the
following:
-
job performance based on the contents
of ARM logs
-
error and warning messages
-
source and target table names
-
SAS metadata user identities
To use the job statistics
reporting package, you must first install it on the server tier and
customize it for your environment. You can then run the parsing programs
and build the OLAP cubes (if applicable) on a regularly scheduled
basis to produce detailed and summary job statistics data. A variety
of predefined reports based on this data are provided. The reports
can be accessed in different ways, depending on which SAS applications
you have installed:
-
You can access the reports in SAS
Web Report Studio if you have it installed. The SAS Web Report Studio
reports can also be accessed through the SAS Information Delivery
Portal.
-
If you have not installed SAS Web
Report Studio, then reports are generated from SAS Stored Processes.
You can view the output of the stored processes in the SAS Stored
Process Web Application or the SAS Information Delivery Portal.
