The following options
govern refresh rates for SAS functionality in Microsoft Outlook:
specifies the frequency
at which the Comment Pane is updated with new data from the SAS Comment
Server. The default value of this option is 5 (minutes). Valid values
range from 0 (no refresh) to 1440 (24 hours). Settings remain valid
for the duration of a connection. Restart Outlook to verify a change
in the refresh rate.
specifies the frequency
of updates for the Gadget Pane. The default value of this option is
60 (minutes). Valid values range from 0 (no refresh) to 1440 (24 hours).
Settings remain valid for the duration of a connection. Restart Outlook
to verify a change in the refresh rate.
To display or change
the values of the refresh options, follow these steps:

Open SAS Management
Console.

In the
Plug-ins tab,
expand
Applications Management.

Right-click
Add-in
5.1 for Microsoft Office and select
Properties.

Advanced tab.
