Specifies a data class for a new SMS-managed data set.

Default value:	none
Valid in:	DATA and PROC steps (when accessing DBMS data using SAS/ACCESS software)
DBMS Support:	DB2 under z/OS

Details

This option applies to the control file (BL_DB2IN=), the input file (BL_DB2REC=), and the output file (BL_DB2PRINT=) for the bulk loader. Use this option to specify a data class for a new SMS-managed data set. SMS ignores this option if you specify it for a data set that SMS does not support. If SMS is not installed or active, the operating environment ignores any data class that BL_DB2DATACLAS= passes. Your site storage administrator defines the data class names that you can specify when you use this option.
