SAS/IntrNet 8.2: MDDB Report Viewer |
Before you begin setting up the MDDB Report Viewer, you must meet the following requirements:
The following SAS software products are licensed at your site:
Base SAS software for Release 8.2 (TS2M0).
SAS/IntrNet software. The Application Dispatcher (consisting of the Application Broker and Application Server components) must be installed and configured.
SAS/EIS software or V8 SAS/OLAP Server software.
SAS/GRAPH software.
The MDDB that you will use to generate reports is created, is registered in a repository, and is stored in a location to which you have access. You can create an MDDB by using SAS/EIS software or PROC MDDB when SAS/MDDB Server software has been licensed. SAS/EIS software automatically registers the MDDB in the repository. If you use PROC MDDB to create the MDDB file, you must register the MDDB in a SAS/EIS repository. See the online documentation for these products for complete instructions on how to create an MDDB. The MDDB Report Viewer can use only MDDB files to create reports. It cannot use regular SAS data sets.
Note: If you are using a Version 6 metabase registration, you must convert it to the V8 format. See Converting Version 6 SAS/EIS Metabases and follow the steps that are described.SAS/IntrNet 8.2: MDDB Report Viewer |
