What's New in the MDDB Report Viewer
Version 1.2 production
April 21, 1999
The production release of MDDB Report Viewer, Version 1.2 is now
available, and it include the following new and enhanced features.
Note that some of these features were available in the beta release.
- Thin-Client Graphics (Java Graph Applet)
- HOLAP support
- Support for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
- Integration with our CBI Solution
- Reach-thru to detail data
- Subset by dimension
- Download to spreadsheet
- Multiple nested dimensions
- Toolbar with common functions (Download, Layout, Rotate, Help, etc)
- Swap or respecify dimensions from the report window
- Change analysis variables and statistics on the fly
- Expand
- Ability to specify graph size and location
- Performance improvements
- Additional options to define the layout/appearance of the report
- Updated and improved user interface.
Version 1.2 beta

Updated Demo
The MDDB Report Viewer demo has been
updated to reflect the new features in Version 1.2.
New Reporting Features
The MDDB Report Viewer now contains a variety of new reporting functions that
enable you to customize reports and analyze your data even faster than before. These
features include:
- Reachthru to detail data
- Subset by dimension
- Save to spreadsheet
- Multiple nested dimensions
- Swap or respecify dimensions from the report window
- Change analysis variables and statistics on the fly
- Expand
- Thin client graphics

Enhanced Features
In addition to the new reporting features, the following features of the MDDB
Report Viewer have been enhanced for Version 1.2:
- The interface has been updated and improved for usability.
- Options have been added to define the layout and appearance of the
report.
- The option to specify a one- or two-dimensional report is no longer required.
