SAS Custom Tags: Overview
The SAS Custom Tag Library is a collection of custom actions based on the JavaServer Pages1.2 (JSP) tag extension API, a Java 2 Enterprise Edition (J2EE) technology. These custom tagsenable JSP developers to develop Web applications that take advantage of SAS data access,computation, and TransformationBean processing without knowing all of the required APIs.Without writing a single line of Java code in a JSP page, developers can use SAS custom tagsto tap the power of SAS software and generate appropriate markup code for desktop Web browsers,wireless devices, and PDAs. Customizers in webAF's integrated development environment extendthe ease of use provided by the SAS Custom Tags, making it easy to modify properties andadd functionality to a page.
