Problem Note 70918: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework REST API 1.0 - Upload and Expand fails for zip package where folders are specified as paths for files

If you create a zip package where folders are specified as paths for files rather than as folders, the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework REST API fails when attempting to perform an upload and expand task.
The failure is the result of the REST API failing to honor the "createParents" instruction.
Note: Upload and expand requests for packages defined in the above manner complete successfully if performed within the following locations
- SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.x User Interface (UI)
- SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework Java API
- SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework SAS Macro API
Viable workarounds for the issue are to do either of the following:
- Create zip file packages that contain both folders and files rather than files with paths.
- Use the SAS Life Science Analytics Framework UI, Java API, or SAS Macro API to upload and expand this type of zip package.
The issue is addressed beginning with REST API 1.1, which is available for use with SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.2.
