Problem Note 70784: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.1 - Specific data viewer actions against a formatted data set column produces an error

Requesting column statistics for a formatted column or activating the ‘Name in’ dialog box with the FMTERR SAS system option enabled produces an error when you do the following within a SAS Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.1 SAS session:
- Open a data set containing a formatted column via the Data Viewer within the session.
As a result, the following error occurs:
Error: Unable to execute query: The format $_UNDEFINED_ was not found or could not be loaded.
To work around this issue, do either of the following:
- Toggle the FMTERR SAS system option back to NOFMTERR within the active SAS session.
- View the data set with the formatted column in a separate SAS session (specifically not in the same SAS session where the FMTERR option is enabled). Then, perform the View statistics task and/or activate the Name in dialog box within the separate session.
Note that the reported issue is addressed beginning with SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.4.2.
