Problem Note 68578: SAS® Environment Manager fails to start with "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" after applying the SAS Private Java Runtime Environment (JRE) update

On Microsoft Windows, the SAS Environment Manager server might fail to start with the following error in the wrapper.log:

This problem happens if you have installed the latest Java 8 update (1.8.0_312).

Note: If you have installed a Java 8 version that is earlier than 1.8.0_312 and you have applied the hot fix, you might still encounter this this error. To resolve it, you must install the latest Java 8 version. SAS Downloads: SAS Private JRE 8
