When you use the SAS 9.4 JDBC driver to read SAS data sets that contain a date column in the EURDFDD10. date format, the driver does not return a date value. Instead, the SAS JDBC driver incorrectly returns a double value for the date column.

To work around this issue, use the DDMMYYP10. format to represent the date column in the SAS data set. This format presents a date identical to that of the EURDFDD10. format. When you use the DDMMYYP10. format, the JDBC driver correctly returns a date value.
