Problem Note 65893: Custom sorts are sorted incorrectly when they are used in a hierarchy in SAS® Visual Analytics Designer

A custom sort might be sorted incorrectly when the data item is used in a custom category, which is then used in a hierarchy. The issue can occur in the following scenario:

Set a custom sort on data item X.

Create a custom category based on data item X.

Create a hierarchy in which Level N is a custom category and Level N+1 is X with a custom sort.
Here is an example:
The following custom sort is set on the data item Type:
The following custom category is created based on the data item Type:
A hierarchy is created using DriveTrain ► Custom Category on Type ► Type.
The following screenshot shows some occurrences in which the sort is not applied correctly:
This problem occurs in SAS Visual Analytics Designer, but not in SAS® Visual Analytics Viewer.
