Problem Note 65851: The MCMC procedure generates incorrect posterior distributions when the VALIDVARNAME=UPCASE system option is specified

When the VALIDVARNAME= system option is set to UPCASE, PROC MCMC generates an incorrect posterior distribution for some of the parameters. Although no error message indicates that there is an issue, the following message might appear in the Log window:
ERROR: An exception has been encountered.

To circumvent this problem, specify either VALIDVARNAME=ANY or VALIDVARNAME=V7 in an OPTIONS statement.
