Usage Note 65282: The error "The data advisor failed to run on the selected data source ..." occurs when you create a project in Model Studio

When you use Model Studio to create a project in SAS® Visual Data Mining and Machine Learning, the following error might be displayed:
The data adviser failed to run on the selected data source.
There are multiple, possible causes, including but not limited to the following:
- The data source is created from a table that has a file name that contains more than 32 characters.
- The length of a column name in the table exceeds 32 characters.
- The column or data set name contains special characters, such as the following: / \ * ? " < > | : - . & ".
To eliminate those possible causes, make sure that data set names and variable names have a maximum length of 32 characters. Also, remove special characters from column and data set names.
