Usage Note 63949: SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework 5.1.x/5.2.x - All LSAF 4.x users must first clear their browser cache before logging in to LSAF 5.1.x or 5.2
If a user has logged in successfully to SAS® Life Science Analytics Framework (LSAF) 4.x (or 5.1), prior to logging in to LSAF 5.1.x or 5.2.x the user browser cache must be cleared.
Failure to clear the browser cache prior to LSAF 5.1.x / 5.2.x initial log in can produce several scenarios.
One scenario is the generation and display of an error in the UI (image below) and also the following error being written to the server logs:
No mapping found for HTTP request with URI [path] in DispatcherServlet with name 'RestRemoteServlet'
Another scenario is a 'spinning disk' and a much longer than anticipated wait time for the log in to complete.
Should either of the scenarios occur, they can resolved by clearing the browser cache.
Note if the browser cache is not cleared prior to initial 5.1.x / 5.2.x log in, it is also possible to experience an additional error when creating contexts. The error received is:
Repository item does not exist at: /undefined
Clearing the browser cache will also resolve the issue with creating contexts, but the user may be required to clear the cache multiple times and/or restart the browser.
