Problem Note 63052: Prompt containers do not filter as expected in SAS® Visual Analytics reports that are the target of a report link

In SAS Visual Analytics, a prompt container enables you to automatically apply prompt values in order to filter other objects. However, if you deselect the Automatically apply values option for the container, then the filters inside the prompt container might not work correctly if the report is the target of a link from another report.
For example, suppose that your report contains a list of countries, and it links to a target report. The target report has a prompt container with a drop-down list of countries, and filters are not automatically applied. You open the first report in SAS® Report Viewer, and double-click Spain. The target report opens, and it is correctly filtered for Spain. You then change the value in the drop-down list to France, and click Apply. Instead of filtering the report for France, the filter is completely cleared. When this problem exists, you cannot filter on any value other than Spain, the value passed from the first report.
There is no workaround that enables you to manually apply filters.
