When you launch SAS Enterprise Miner or  SAS Forecast Studio via Java Web Start using Java 8 version 121 (Java Runtime Environment 1.8.0_121), the following error is displayed:

If you click Details, then an additional error is displayed:

To work around the problem, use a Java 8 version that is prior to version 121 (a Java Runtime Environment earlier than the 1.8.0_121 release).
