Problem Note 56961: The contents of user-defined fields in a communication revert to their original values after counts are updated

When you edit custom detail fields within a Communication node, any changes are lost if you click the Update button to refresh counts before you click OK.
For example, in the Communication node that is shown below, the original, blank date fields are changed to the value October 31, 2015.
If you click Update first to refresh the counts, the date fields revert to their original blank values, as shown below:
To work around this issue, always click OK immediately after you make changes to custom fields in the Communication node.
